We are happy and proud to have successfully concluded the inauguration of the PME Activity “Nanobiophysics through touch and hearing”, which took place at the Federico Santa María Technical University of Valparaíso on Wednesday, September 25, an event attended by members of the nucleus as collaborators, in addition to the participation of students and teachers of the faculty.
We are grateful for the work of Dr. Francisco Peña, Young Researcher at N2BP, who together with his team managed to present models related to nanobiophysics: water molecule, graphene, carbon nanotubes and aquaporin.
The aim is to encourage interest and potential university study in science by demonstrating its accessibility through the use of appropriate adaptations.
We remind you that on October 9 and 10 the exhibition will be held at the UTEM Science and Technology Building located at Ignacio Valdivieso 2409, San Joaquín, Santiago, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The initiative will be aimed at different educational levels, teachers and staff from two schools that work with students with visual disabilities: Santa Lucía and Hellen Keller, both in the Metropolitan Region, located in the municipalities of La Cisterna and Ñuñoa, respectively.
